Windows 10: How can I connect my microphone to use on the internet?

I can use my headset microphone for Discord voice chatting however when I am on google Docs or trying to record a response for a virtual job assessment online, my microphone is not picked up. I use Steelseries Artis Nova Pro Wireless headset. It was working fine a few days ago when I was using it online for the same reason and same sites. I haven't changed my settings and my computer, driver, and headphones are up-to-date software, I've checked this several times. Please help me connect my headphones to the internet again.

If you cannot connect to Wi-Fi or use the Mobile Data on your HTC 7 Mozart device, we suggest that you follow the steps given on
