Windows 10: How can I connect to my internet when in lockscreen?

This happened after I restarted my laptop. I put my password in and it said that is incorrect, but is not. Then I found out that my laptop is not connected to the internet even though before it restarted, it still had internet on. Other devices were working fine meaning that the internet network is strong. Please help me, I really need to use my laptop as soon as possible. I have been having this problem since the past 3 days. The reason I restarted my laptop was because of the blue screen/stop code issue. I’m using an HP model and Windows 10. Thank you.

Try the following steps:

• 
  Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.
  
• 
  Click “View All”
  
• 
  Select "Internet Explorer connection"
  
•

• Open Admin command and type: ipconfig
  
  
  
• Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
  Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
  NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank

If you cannot connect to Wi-Fi or use the Mobile Data on your HTC 7 Mozart device, we suggest that you follow the steps given on
Lumia troubleshooting and repair. After each step, check to see if your issue has been fixed.
