    Problem to connect to hotel wifi

    I have been having problems with public wifi on my laptop running windows 10. If I try to connect to some wifi (ususally in hotels requiring a login/password) browser opens
    msftconnecttest/redirect but fails to connect. I tried to switched off all firewalls and antivirus programs, used different browsers (Chrome, Opera, Edge), searched for answer on internet and tried many things, but nothing helped.
    These days I am on business trip in another country and again face the same serious problem. I have Win 10 Pro, version 1903, build 18362.476.

    Problem to connect to hotel wifi

    Thanks, I disabled NCSI both active and passive probes using Group Policy, but it did not help. Browser did not try to open msftconnecttest site what
    was OK, but site to entry wifi login and password internet connection was not opened and I am still not able to connect to hotel wifi. Any other idea?

    msftconnecttest redirect not working on windows 10 public wifi

    Seems odd that I can get onto the login page on my iphone (which apparently does not use msftconnecttest as an interim step, but not the laptop.

    Can I bypass this msftconnecttest step manually?
