    How can I control printed Font Size? - Android to network printer.


    I have connected my Brother MFC-8860DN printer to my home Netgear R7000 router network by an Ethernet cable. I can print emails from my Google Pixel 2XL Android by accessing the network using the Brother iPrint&Scan app. The printed font size of the header is 10, which is the same as when I print from Windows 10 - printing Gmail from Firefox or Chrome. But the font size of the body of the emails printed from the Android app is 26 -- too large. What location has control of the printed font size?

    Error - Printing on Network printer

    What type of printers are they? Show a screenie of the http web page it offers. Use something like softperfect's netscan, go options, additional, check "check for open TCP ports and add 21,80,443,9100. Make sure the same result appears for all 4 printers. Post a screenie.

    PS. I dont think this is a drivers issue. It's a fault network setup (on the printer) or a firewall/switch acting in between you and the printer. The printer obviously isnt dead if it can run and print diagnostics pages from the control panel.

    Normally font size is the app not the printer.

    Windows 10 Printer Font Size

    Normally printers will follow the font size of application which are printing.

    It means , if you are typing something in Microsoft Office Word and you want bigger or smaller font for printing, you may change font size in Microsoft Office Word and then print it. Make sure you select correct paper size (e.g. A4 , Photo Paper, Letter,
    tec.)

    Font is not a properties of printer.
