Windows 10: How can I delete all Windows 7 type Backups with System Image on second hard drive?

My Notebook has 2 hard drives. I want to use the second hard drive for Windows 10 Pro 1803 File History. I need to reclaim space used for Windows 7 type Backup with System Image on the second hard drive.

Using network hard drive for backup

It depends what sort of backup you want to do. If you're happy just backing up regular files, then there are a bazillion (really, that many!) different bits of freeware to do that. There is a good list here:

and pretty much all of them can do network backups. Some even have fancy options like encryption. Really, the most useful thing is just being able to schedule them and know they ran OK.

You may also want to make a system image backup too, and you'll find that software in the very same list.

I don't have Windows 8 as yet, so I'm afraid I can't suggest any for that platform. Personally, I use Clonezilla for image backups.

 

Windows 7 Image

I need to backup the windows,data,programs (A) installed in the hard disk n.1

I want to use the feature(restore windows image) of windows 7 installed in another drive (hard disk 2) , so of another windows 7 (B) started up.

So, Can i startup windows B (installed on hard disk n.2) and use the feature to create an image of windows A (located on another drive, Hard Disk n.1)?
