  1. How can I delete certificates?

Since the recent update of Edge the certificates management interface has changed a lot. It took me several minutes to find it again but this time I'm unable to delete the certificates. For my work I have to put the electronic identity cards of my clients in my pc and that automatically generates a certificate of the ID card in my system. So over time those certificates are piling up and it's annoying for me when I have to log in to a certain secured site, scroll through all the certificates and select my own certificate. I used to delete all certificates except mine and now I don't know how

    :)

  2. Unable to view Certification portal

    Hi SantosiniChoudhury

Thanks for posting the thread on our forum.

According to your description, it seems that you get the error message and can’t view Certification portal.

About how to download the certificate, you can do the following steps:

    1. On the “Your dashboard” page, please click on 'Download or purchase' under “Certificates”.
    2. On the “Certificate” page, select the certificate(s) that you would like to download or purchase.
    3. Please click on the “PDF” button. An "OPEN, SAVE, SAVE AS" bar will pop-up at the bottom of the page.
Besides, we kindly advise you to follow the steps listed below and attempt to try the following troubleshooting over the day:

    1. Make sure to use an up-to-date browser. (e.g. Edge)
    2. Clear cache and cookies. Make sure you check Preserve Favorites, website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies; then click Delete.
    3. On the Delete Browsing History window, make sure to uncheck Preserve Favorites, website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies; then click Delete.
    4. Allow all third-party cookies through the browser settings.
Hope the suggestions can help you.

    Regards,

    Stacey

    Cannot delete certificate

Because it's a personal computer I'm not using a CAC. But the way CACs work is by authorising you against the central domain, which is effectively what I'm doing anyway (because I'm not on a domain-managed system).

I've elevated to Admin but the certificate disappears: this is an intended behaviour. It's clearing the 'R' attribute that I need help with.

I may try SuperUser unless anybody has any suggestions?

    Expired security certificate for Metropcs.com

    Hi David,

Getting the error message that says the site is using an invalid security certificate may be caused by missing certificates or could be due to web browser cache issues. To sort out this problem, try manually installing the missing certificates and deleting
the web browser's browsing history. Follow the steps below:

    Manually installing the missing certificates.

    • In Internet Explorer, click Continue to this website (not recommended), if the error message about having invalid security certificate pops up.
    • Click the Certificate Error to open the information window.
    • Click View Certificates, and then Install Certificate.
    • On the warning message that appears, click Yes to install the certificates.

    Clearing browsing history.

    • Launch Internet Explorer.
    • Click Tools (gear icon) on the top-right corner, then select
      Internet Options.
    • Under General > Browsing history, click Delete.
    • Tick the box for Temporary Internet files and website files.
    • Click Delete.

Once done, try accessing the website again and see if you still get the same error.

    Let us know the result.

    Regards.
