Windows 10: How can I delete old Windows isntallations that are on different drives than my current...

I just got a new CPU and motherboard, so I reinstalled Windows from 10 to 11, and to a new drive and decided to do some cleanup on my drives. I have 3 SSDs in the system, 2x240GB and 1x~1TB. Windows 11 is installed on the 1TB drive but it was previously on one of my 240GB drives E:. The old installation is taking up ~30GB that I'd like to free up, but I can't just delete the folder from Windows Explorer and guides like this only appear to work if the previous installation is on the same drive as the current one. How do I go about deleting the folder? Cheers,András

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.

Deleted old drive with old windows and now main windows wont boot

I have three drives, a 500gb SSD, a 250gb SSD and a 1TB HDD

Windows 10 was isntalled on the old 250ssd.

Then I cleanly installed windows 11 in the 500gb ssd

I proceeded to delete all partitions on the 250gb ssd so windows souldn't ask me which windows I wanted.

Instead, it booted into the BIOS with no bootable device available.

What Can I do, I NEED the files in the 500gb drive.

I suggest you follow this steps and check if it helps.

  Open Disk Cleanup by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Disk Cleanup, and then, in the list of results, click Disk Cleanup.
  
• 
  If you're prompted to choose a drive, click the drive you just installed Windows on, and then click OK.
  
• 
  In the Disk Cleanup dialog box, on the Disk Cleanup tab, click Clean up system files.
  
• 
  If you're again prompted to choose a drive, click the drive you just installed Windows on, and then click OK.
  
• 
  Select the Previous Windows installation(s) check box, and any other check boxes for the files you want to delete, and then click OK.
  
• 
  In the message that appears, click Delete Files.
