Windows 10: How can I disable all Internet access for a standard user on my PC?

Hello,I am trying to setup my computer so my little brother can use it when I am at work. I have downloaded all the software I want him to be able to access onto his standard profile. Now that I have done that I would like to prevent him from being able to access any internet on his profile. I, as the Admin, would still need Internet Access.I originally had the idea to disable the Wifi adapter in Device Manager for his profile only, as I'm sure it would take quite awhile for him to figure that out, but I see I cannot access Device Manager on his profile. Thank you for the update.

I suggest you to follow the steps below in the standard user account to disable internet access.

Go to Internet Options in the Control Panel in the users account. Go to the Connections tab and click LAN settings. Uncheck "Automatically detect settings" and then check "Use proxy server" and put settings in for a proxy server that doesn't exist. eg 1.1.1.1
This will time out the Web browser each time a user tries to pull up an Internet site. Unfortunately, a savvy user could go into the settings and fix this.

NOTE: To prevent a user from changing their proxy settings, implement Disable changing proxy settings or Disable the Connections page in the No Internet policy.

Guidance needed to setup my Home PC access over Internet through browser

I wasn't giving steps on how to get RDP working, that is covered plenty of other places, I just give the steps to make it secure.

RDP. If they aren't tracking your Web browsing, I doubt they are going to track RDP.

And if you start the session from the command prompt it doesn't even put the address in the MRU list.

Though the question that needs to be asked now is, what are you using for your VM lab?

 

Need some restriction of my standard user in my PC

The easiest way to restrict a standard user from accessing the files of another user account is by ensuring that the files are saved to the
C:\Users\<AdministratorUsername> folder or the %userprofiles% folder. If a standard user attempts to access the files from the said folder, by default, it would instantly prompt for the administrator's credentials in order
to access it.

If you wish to put restrictions on a specific file, you may follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the specific file and choose Properties.
  
• Choose Security tab.
  
• Click Edit.
  
• Choose Add.
  
• Type the username, click Check Name and then, hit
  OK.
  
• You can now manage the restrictions for the user profile, under Permissions for <username>.

If you wanted to set a restriction on the Local Drive, follow these steps:

• Double-click This PC.
  
• Right-click on Local Disk (C.
  
• Choose Properties.
  
• Select Security tab.
  
• Click Edit.
  
• Choose Add.
  
• Type the username, click Check Name and then, hit OK.
• Set the level of restriction for the said drive.
