  1. How can I disable Device Manager from scanning for hardware changes?

Hello. I wrote a ".bat" script that runs when I start the computer and pretends to have hardware that is not actually on my computer. It works very properly. My problem starts here; After a while, the computer scans for hardware changes and because it sees that there is no hardware, the command I wrote starts to not work. How can I prevent my computer from scanning for hardware changes? Thanks.

    :)

How can I disable Device Manager from scanning for hardware changes?

Hello, is there any way to disable Device Manager in Windows 10 from scanning for hardware changes? It's when you connect some device and the Device Manager refreshes, I want to disable it so it doesn't refresh, thank you in advance.

Device Manager > Scan for hardware changes?

    Hello Paul, *Smile

"Scan for hardware changes" in Device Manager is basically just an option to refresh Device Manager to show any possible hardware changes (ex: connect or disconnect a device).

Scan for Hardware Changes Missing on Device Manager

    Hi GreenMenComputers

That menu will, by default, just have the Help option . . .

Click any device category in the list, then, click the Action menu and the 'Scan for Hardware Changed' option will appear . ..
