Windows 10: How can I disable text box pop up every time I press a character using Japanese IME?

Hi, I started using the Japanese IME keyboard for Windows 10. When using some apps this windows shows up if I have the language set to JP:That stops me from being able to use key shortcuts until I press Enter or Escape.How can I disable it?Thank you.

Switching Japanese Windows with English menus

Yes, I do mean those keys. I tried just switching to Japanese keyboard, as you suggested, but those keys didn't work. Also, the selection key is normally the spacebar in Japan but I could only get IME to work with the Tab key (for those who aren't familiar with Japanese typing: you type in Roman characters, then press a selection key and it steps you through a list of options for the word you are typing in Japanese characters). Did you get the special keys to work as they do in native Japanese mode?

It may well be that I was missing something, although I did try every option I could think of. In any event, as I said, I gave in and now have Japanese Windows running with English menus and everything seems to be working perfectly.

IME (Japanese) is disabled

Despite multiple efforts and hours of trying dozens of different threads, attempting to find a workable answer, IME is disabled, and I don't know the reason why. I only recently installed the Japanese IME, and from the moment I downloaded it, it would not
work. A small, grayed-out circle with an X through it appears in my Taskbar when I switch to the Japanese input, and I can only type in English characters. I cannot type phonetically, or get a single Japanese symbol to appear, despite having tried switching
to kana.

Naturally, I went in search of help, but I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Language packs, restarted my computer, and even tried switching to suggested settings, but none of it seems to work. I even checked my registry to make certain it looked correct.

I'm hoping that if I ask specifically, maybe someone would know how to fix this issue.

My laptop is an HP Pavilion running Windows 10. At the time I got it, it ran Windows 8.1, and I updated to 10 after I first booted it up.

 

Japanese IME is disabled, nothing fixes it.

When I try to press the small 'A' button on the lower right side of the task bar instead of changing to its hiragana counterpart when set to Japanese it displays a small x in a circle. When this circle is tapped it says "IME Disabled". I have tried reinstalling
the Japanese IME and many other suggestions that I have found and none work. By some miracle last time I was able to fix it but when my laptop underwent another system update the problem arose again.

I would love any assistance on how to fix this reoccurring software issue that has taunted my peers, teachers and myself.
