Windows 10: How can I disable WiFi-based location detection in Windows 11?

In short: How can I stop Windows from using WiFi-based location detection, and instead rely only on GPS location whenever it's available? I don't want to use WiFi-based location under any circumstances. WiFi access points can move, and for me it's always better that my computer does not know it's location than that it detects the location wrong. If there is no setting for this anywhere, and if the feature cannot be removed in regedit, can I disable it with firewall by blocking specific IP address and/or port?Background:After installing Huawei WiFi mesh system to my home, my Windows 11 PC think

Wifi completely disabled

Hi Ben,

It seems that your wireless card may have been disabled or could be uninstalled. To help sort out this issue, I suggest that you restart your laptop first. Once the laptop is back on, check if your WiFi is reconnected. If not, check your laptop's Device
Manager and see if the wireless card is detected. Follow these steps:

• Right-click the Windows key and click Device Manager.
• Expand Network adapters and look for your WiFi adapter.
• If it's there, right-click it and click Properties.
• Check the Device status.

If the device status shows that the device is working properly, then check if the Airplane mode on your laptop is turned on. Just press the
Windows key + A to open Action Center. If it's on, then turn it off and see if WiFi is working.

Usually, when we performed a Windows update, we also need to ensure that the drivers are updated. Wi-Fi adapter driver could be corrupted or outdated that's why you are facing this issue. You may need to download the latest Wi-Fi adapter driver from your manufacturer's
website.

We also suggest that you use the Network Adapter troubleshooter. Here are the steps to run it:

• Go to Settings.
• Select Update & security.
• Click Troubleshoot located in the left pane.
