    Well, I figured out what was wrong. It took all of about 2min. of investigation, LOLz. I just never took the time to try to figure it out because it really didn't bother me to press F1.

    Hi. Would you please help me how do I get rid of this little thing? It happens every time I want to manipulate with volume by pressing Fn and either F1,F2 or F3. It used to be only the volume indicator but now it's also the thing next to it and it often blocks my view. Thank you!

    Hi joshuawoolley,

    If you have a keyboard attached and F1 does not work, try Fn + F1 or Fn + F2

    If that does not work, what text exactly is printed on the screen indicating to press F1 or F2

    How old is your device, is it 3 years or more?
