    Free reliable PDF Reader application

    I need a good reliable PDF Reader besides Adobe. All adobe wants to do is force me to subscribe to services. They have taken over my computer. I have contacted their support, but all they want to do is charge subscription, even though they list it as free.
    Any suggestions.

    Pdf conversions

    Hello Connienoyb,

    My name is Nada, I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue, and I will try my best to assist you.

    you can try the following steps to fix it:

    Right-click on the icon for a PDF file.

    On the context menu, click Open With, and then click Choose Default Program.

    Select your PDF viewer if it is listed, otherwise click More Options, scroll to Look for another app on this PC and click it.

    This should stop Word from automatically converting your PDF files when you open them. I hope this helps.

    I use:
    • UnityPDF to merge/split PDFs and to insert/extract pages
    • doPDF to create PDFs from any program that is capable of printing
    • Foxit Reader to view PDFs and to type in them
