Windows 10: How can I enable Compact View in File Explorer for Windows 10? Option to turn Compact View...

My laptop with Windows 10 was upgraded today with KB5019959, and now I cannot find an option for compact view in File Explorer. I checked the registry editor, and there is no UseCompactMode DWORD. There is no option under View -> Options -> Change folder and search options.

compact view in Windows Explorer doesn't work anymore.

Here is two example of Windows 11 File Explorer with setting 'View / Details'.

On left is default mode (stupid choice for default) and right has *Compact' mode' turn on'.

As you can see long list of files / folders use lot of space in default mode because of spacing between lines.
