Windows 10: How can I factory Reset my dell optiplex 390 pc

I found it doing a little dumpster diving there's hardly anything on it suprisingly it seems like there was a domain network on it changed that up and I have a administrator account but there's somethings I'm not able to do like update drivers for one install a newer windows please help before i trash this thing for the second time in its life i don't need the stress

I would not buy the HDD from Dell. You can get a better deal (and better drive) from other places. I suggest an SSD.



Dell doesn't necessarily support the system with Windows 10:

However, they have drivers thru Windows 8, my *bet* would be you will be able to get things working with Windows 10.

Have seen part of this question answered but not all of it,. I bought a optiplex desktop 390 from a storage unit sale and was missing hard drive and planning to use as regular pc. I was wonder if this computer can run windows 10? If I have a windows 8
pro dvd case is there any other software I need to use the computer? I'm planning to buy a 500 gb hdd from Dell, first computer build.

 

How to factory reset Dell Inspiron PC?

Ideally, the computer manufacturer does factory reset of the computer. We would like to know the version of Windows installed on the computer.



However, if you are looking to reset the computer, you can follow the steps mentioned in the article

If you wish to do a factory reset, I would suggest you to refer the Dell article on

Factory reset, restore, or reinstall Microsoft Windows on a Dell computer.



You may also get in touch with the computer manufacturer so that they can help you in performing factory reset.



Note: Resetting the computer will erase all the data from the computer. It is recommended to take a backup of data before resetting the computer.




As you have mentioned that, you forgot the administrator password. If you were using a Microsoft account, I suggest you to refer the article on

However, if you were using a Local account on the computer, refer the article on
