Windows 10: How can I factory reset my laptop when the recovery environment is not found?

Hello, My HP Spectre x360 laptop went to sleep during an update and then when I turned it on, it was a black screen saying, "Boot device not found, please install an operating system on your hard disk". I I could only run diagnostics, and go into the BIOS, but not get past those screens to log in.I took it to a shop, and was told that my C Drive was corrupted, and data could not be recovered. They installed a new C Drive and upgraded me to Windows 11. I am now getting rid of this laptop since it has a few glitches, like the mouse sparking when it goes over links, a discolored line on my screen

Factory reset “could not find recovery environment”

I need to do a full reset/factory reset on my windows 11 computer, I cant login otherwise a “virus” will trigger and i cant move my mouse of type anything, safe-mode works just fine, but if i try to reset my pc (in safe mode) it says “could not find the recovery environment”

Factory Reset Win 7 (without disc)

Download an ISO of the Avira AV boot CD, burn it on your own computer, and then boot from that CD on your mom's computer and run a cleanup.

Seriously, you should just download a Windows disc and format the laptop. Best and easiest course of action.
