    How can I find downloaded programs?


    I continue to find Windows 11 most user-unfriendly and frustrating. I any former OS, if I recall correctly, on installation of the OS I could instruct it to allow me to determine where a download program would be saved. In Windows 11, Settings > System > Storage > Where new content is stored gives me a choice between OS C drive or USB disk E drive--really no choice at all. In any former OS, if I had a problem of this sort I could go to Control Panel. W11 has a CP, but it is a feeble shadow of its former self. In a former OS, I could go to Programs and find programs. W11 app

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    How can I find downloaded programs?

    Programs Missing From Control Panel List


    I was able to get rid of XNVIEW by downloading it and using it's own uninstaller.
    Have tried method suggested by Pyramid 10 with photoscape without success.
    Can't figure out how to do what is asked.
