    Is this a scam or actually from Microsoft?

    Hi Christine,

    It is a Scam for someone else pretending to be Microsoft.

    I suggest to close this tab and not type any of your data.

    If you used the link in the email body to verify your account, the link is actually legit and it is from Microsoft domain. It is not a phishing scam email.

    I will suggest that you go to your account https://account.live.com, sign in and go to Security, review the activities. Make sure you don't spot anything that's not yours. If you have already changed your password great, if not, I suggest you change your password and set up 2 steps verification to further protect your account.
