Windows 10: How can I find out what versions of Windows if any are registered to a computer with no...

Hi. This is the reverse scenario of the "Is my windows registered?" question. I have acquired a stack of assorted 1u blade servers Intel and Dell with no hard drives. I want to install new drives in them and load a licensed version of Windows onto them. I believe that Windows is digitally registered based on the serial number of the processor.Question: If I provide the processor serial numbers or other appropriate data?, can I find out what windows OS is currently registered to this computer? Further, on reinstall, can I get the license key? I have several computers that I need t

Hardcore Windows XP fans will claim that Vista is currently buggy and bloated. Hardcore Mac OS X fans will claim that at least half of Vista is inspired by Mac OS X. Hardcore Linux fans laugh at all of this, and simply install the free Beryl user interface on the latest free distro of Ubuntu (or some other *nix distro). • Vista Live = Xbox Live for the PC. Really.
• Halo 2- What Halo fans have been waiting for over the years is finally coming to the PC. And it looks better than most of us imagined.
• DirectX10 API- All new games/ graphics cards will eventually be exclusively for DX10 and Vista, so we better get used to it.
• Windows Vista search functions- Windows indexing the everything really helps when you misplace something.
• Windows Firewall- It's pretty good this time around, if you need a firewall.
• Lots of pretty hardware/laptops are coming out that are designed just for Vista.
• Microsoft is pushing for a complete move to Windows Vista, hence, they'll drop support for everything older just like they did for Windows 9x and ME.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

One computer cannot access other network computers.


So I've tried every troubleshooting step I know:

• Double checked that Net Bios was enabled
• Ran a bunch of network commands:
  • flushed DNS
  • registered dns
  • pinged and located the named computers successfully
• Reset my router to factory settings

Nothing works when I try to access via explorer. I'm still baffled by the fact that every other computer can access each other AND access this computer. It's just the outgoing connection from this machine that doesn't work.

Any thoughts?
