How can I find out which keyboard shortcuts I have got set up?

    Hello

About a year ago I set up a keyboard shortcut to open a folder. I now want to change the shortcut, but I can't remember where I set up the keyboard shortcut (Control+Alt+Z)!

Fwiw, I'm thinking that I right-clicked on a shortcut to my folder and set up a "Shortcut key". Either that or I used a .BAT file??Either way, the trouble is that I can't now find where I set it up.

How can I find out where it is?
Does Windows have somewhere in the Registry listing shortcut keys?

    Cheers

    J

    :)

How do I find out which version of OneNote I have?

I have been using Windows 10 for a year now. I use OneNote for some notes but have never been able to find out what version of OneNote I have installed. I have tried to find a users guide for One Note but often the entries tell you to select what version
of OneNote you have so it guides you to the correct guide. For example I am trying to find out if One Note has a spellcheck type capability because I'm getting a red line under some words in my notes. In Word I can add the word to the dictionary. In OneNote
I don't know if there even is a dictionary, much less, if there is how do I access the spell check capability if OneNote even has that ability.

How can I find out which keyboard shortcuts I have got set up?

If it is Ctrl + Alt + Something it is probably a shortcut.

You can use this Shortcut Key Explorer to find it.

For hotkeys assigned to start menu shortcuts you could use this donationware program: it found a hotkey I had assigned to a start menu shortcut.

It is specified for Win 10.
RJL Software - Software - Utility - Shortcut Key Explorer

I think it scans all shortcuts in selected folders rather than any shortcut anywhere on your disk, so will be limited in that respect.
Also note that hotkeys can be registered by other means.

Which leaves the question as to how you achieve a universal scan...

The topic is of course more complex: further reading:

Guys, thanks for the tip about Shortcut Key Explorer. Plan to dig in later today or tomorrow. As for a general scan on same Nir Sofer would be the guy to ask about one ... goes off to NirSoft.net to check ... and as you'd guess, the tool HotKeysList shows ALLL registered hotkey for Windows. It's also free, so you'll probably want to give that a try, too.
    HTH,

As you'd guess it's pretty comprehensive. Here's a representative screenshot:

If anyone has a utility, it's probably Nirsofer..!

However there seems no more info available than in your screenshot... function, location...
Also its listing seems a very peculiar and limited selection..

How can I find out which keyboard shortcuts I have got set up?

You're right, Dalchina. But at least, it tells us what else to go looking for. It's not a complete solution, but it could be helpful.
Thanks for pointing these lacunae out: I hadn't really dug in just yet, as I'm supposed to be working on something else! *Redface
