Windows 10: How can I find the driver for the printer and how to connect to internet?

I cannot print anything from my printer any longer. It works fine, however, it won't get connect to the Wi Fi in our home, after a period of not using it, because we were out of ink. When I replaced it with the new ink, it wouldn't print! I am trying to find out how to put in driver, if that is the problem.

1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig
   
   
   
2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
   Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
   NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank

First, I would suggest installing the actual driver package from Brother. While the printer may work with the fairly generic drivers that come with Windows 10, I've always found that I get better results from the actual Brother drivers.

I have a rather old Brother printer so the exact steps may be a bit different from yours, but in my case when I install the drivers it will search the network for available printers and allow me to specify the printer that it finds. If it does not find a printer, it may ask you to initially setup the printer via a direct connection (USB), and then configure the printer for network use (WiFi).

In any case, the installation wizard should guide you through the steps.

• What is the build version of Windows that you are using? To check it, type in
  winver on Search bar and hit Ok.
• When did this issue occur?
