Windows 10: How can I find Windows Photos Favorites on Onedrive?

Are Windows Photos Favorites album stored on OneDrive website? I cannot find Photos Favorites on the OneDrive website or app. I sync all my photos with OneDrive, and log on to OneDrive in the Windows 11 Photos app. The Favorites photo album on the Photos app on the Windows 11 desktop displays my favorite photo correctly. How does Windows 11 store Favorite photos anyway? If my computer crashes, and I must resync my OneDrive photos to a new computer, will the Photos app in the new computer show my Favorite photos again? Thanks.

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

Hello Charles,

About your concern, you can delete photos on your Windows Phone without affecting those that are saved in OneDrive. Follow the steps provided below to delete photos:

• Swipe left on the Start screen.
• Tap Photos.
• Navigate to desired location (all, album, favorites).
• Touch and hold desired picture.
• Tap delete.
• Tap delete again to confirm.
