Windows 10: How Can I Fix a Broken Calendar and Internet Settings Task Bar Menu?

When I click to open the internet and sound menu located in the Windows 11 taskbar, the menu opens, but there's nothing in it. And when I go to open the calendar and notifications menu, by clicking where the time is displayed, nothing opens. Notifications come through okay, but I cannot see them by opening the menu, which shows the time, notifications, and date. Please help!It should be noted that I've tried to run basic commands such as: sfc /scannow and DISM.exe /Online /RestorehealthThanks.

Cannot modify Task Bar settings

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."

Hello,

Since the beginning of the month, my task bar and start menu are not functioning correctly. I am unable to right click on programs on the task bar. I am unable left click on the volume control, notifcations, internet, or calendar/time. Left clicking on the
start menu and cortona does nothing either.

I have searched online for a few fixes, but nothing seems to work.

Would appreciate any help.

The menu bar can be turned on or off in Internet Explorer. Here's how to display the menu bar if it is turned off.

Please follow the below steps and check if it helps,

To display the menus temporarily

• In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click
  Internet Explorer.
• Press Alt.

To display the menus permanently

• In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click
  Internet Explorer.
• Click the View button, point to Toolbars, and then click
  Menu Bar.
