    How can I fix a mistake I made when trying to recover lost files from OneDrive?


    Hello - I realized I was missing several documents in OneDrive a few days ago. I ended up restoring to a previous time and the files still weren't there; however, in doing so I ended up missing many more files. Because of this, I tried restoring to a more recent time, but I'm realizing more files are missing and I'm not sure what to do. Additionally, the items I can no longer locate are also untraceable in my outlook emails as well emails with pdfs are missing. :

    Recover lost file...

    Actually, I've deleted a sound file(was opening by VLC)by mistake and I just want to recover it... What should I do? By the way, I don't want to use any kind of third-party file recovering softwares... Does Microsoft have any file recovery softwares? Or,
    could I recover it manually by using techie methods in the OS? I have Windows 10 Build 15063.158... Can please anyone help me? Please suggest me what I should do...

    How to recover the lost messages?


    1. Re-create your mail folder hierarchy by dragging folders into place in the Folder list. Note that any folder you have created to group sub-folders but that does not itself contain messages will not appear in the Folder list and so must be created again.
    2. Re-download the list of newsgroups from each news account.
    3. Reset your subscribed newsgroups and download messages again.
    4. Reset synchronization options on IMAP and newsgroup folders.
    5. Edit any message rule that moves or copies messages to folders other than the Inbox.
    These are the steps from which you can get the lost information back. And if your information not recovered again then it might be severe problem .In this case you have to go for recovery software to get your dbx files data back.
