Windows 10: how can i fix microsoft store because it cannot connect to the internet

The Microsoft store app opens up and acts as if it hangs without loading content. We get the Sorry About That message indicating that there is no internet connection.

I suggest you to try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Use
Internet Connection Troubleshooter.

Internet Connection Troubleshooter find and fix the problems with connecting to the internet or to websites.

• Click on Start; in the start search type
  Troubleshooter and hit Enter.
• In the left pane, click onView all.
• Click on Internet Connection Troubleshooter.
• Select Advance and click on
  Run as Administrator.
• Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

Step 2: I suggest you to clear cache and cookies from the Microsoft Edge browser.

Steps:

• Open Microsoft Edge, click on
  More Action at the right top corner.
• Click on Settings, click on
  Choose what to clear under Clear browsing data.
• Select the Browsing history, caches and cookies and hit
  Clear.
• Close the browser and try to open it again.

Step 3: Run WSReset.exe .

• Press Windows+R key to open Run box
• Enter wsreset.exe in the Run command and then tap or click
  OK.
• Restart your computer and check.

Apps from Windows store 10 do not connect to internet

I would suggest you to provide some information to help you better.

• Are you able to connect to internet and browse?
  
• Is this issue specific to Windows Store apps?
  
• Are you facing this issue in Local account or Microsoft account?

Let's try the below Steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Step 1: If installed from the Windows store try to run a
Windows Store app troubleshooter and check.

If the issue doesn’t resolve then try next step.

Step 2: Run inbuilt Internet connection troubleshooter
and Network Adapter troubleshooter

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter
  
• Also run the Network Adapter troubleshooter and check if the issue resolves.

I'm connected to the internet but can't install anything off microsoft store

Resetting your Wi-Fi router is one of the maintenance procedures that help refresh or repair your network connectivity. In this way, it could eliminate latency and will return your network status like when you started using the Internet.
To resolve your concern, we suggest that you reset your TCP/IP or
Internet Protocol to its default settings. To do this, follow the instructions below:

Step #1: If you are connected to a
Wi-Fi router, check your Wi-Fi router if the green lights for
Wi-Fi (WLAN) and Internet are both blinking. This means they are switched on and enabled.





Step #2: Run the Network troubleshooter. To diagnose your network configuration, perform the steps below:

1. Open Start menu, then click Settings icon.

2. Click Network & Internet.

3. On the left pane, click Status.

4. Click Network troubleshooter to diagnose and fix network problems.

Step #3: Perform an Internet connection reset via
Command Prompt. To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Press Windows + R to open the Run window.

2. Type cmd, then press Enter.

3. Type the following commands, then press Enter after typing each commands below:

netsh int ip reset resettcpip.txt

netsh winhttp reset proxy

netsh int ip reset

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns

netsh winsock reset

4. Restart your PC to complete the process.

then tell us the result through a screenshot.

1. Press Windows key + R to open the Run window.

2. Type cmd, then press Enter. Type ping
www.microsoft.com and press Enter.

• If you receive 4 replies, it means that your connection with the site is working properly.
  
• If you got a request time out, it means that your connection has issues.

Step #7: Disable all other anti-virus programs and enable
Windows Defender only.

Step #8: Check your Internet connection ping status and speed.

Step #9: If you are using a wireless connection, make sure that there is no interference around your area that blocks its signal. We also suggest that you must be in close proximity with your
WiFi source or signal. If all troubleshooting steps above have no avail, contact your Internet service provider for more assistance.

When Microsoft Store or the applications downloaded from it
won’t launch or not working, it means that the cache in your computer was already overloaded. Clearing the cache is needed periodically to clean all the temporary data stored on your computer. Similar to a web browser,
Microsoft Store also collects cache data from the Internet.

We recommend using the WSReset command to clear the store app’s cache and reset it to a clean state. To do so, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + R to open the Run window.
• Type in WSReset.exe, then click
