    How can I fix my symbolic link?


    I have an external SSD to store the Sims 4, and all my mods and custom content for the game. The game however, requires the mods folder to be in my document's folder on my computer. To resolve this, I decided to move the game to my computer, but establish a symbolic link between the mod folder on my laptop and the mod folder on my SSD, this way, I wouldn't need to have to store them all on my computer, but the game could still "find" them. The issue is that I found out that the symbolic link isn't actually "pointing to" the other mods folder, but instead, is copying all my files from the other
