Windows 10: How can i fix this?

Hello,I'm using a jack 3.5mm headset and if i plug it in only the mic or the sound works. It started happening yesterday, i bought a new adapter and still i can only hear sound or only use my mic.The window pops up if im using a mic or headset twice and whatever i choose second will work, if i choose mic that it is mic if i choose headset than sound.If i use 2 headsets tha i can hear audio and on the other headset i can use the mic.I'm wondering if this is a windows or a hardware problem.P.S.:My headset doesn't have software so that can't be it.

Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

In future if you face any issues with Wireless connections, I suggest you to un-install and re-install wireless card drivers and check. Follow the steps:

I would suggest you to un-install and re-install wireless card
driver and check. Follow the steps.

• Press Windows key + X.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Network adaptor.

Right click on the wireless card driver and click on Un-install.

Now go to the manufacturer website of your
wireless card or computer and install the latest drivers for your
wireless card and check.
