    How can i fix usb device not recognized and it malfuntioning when i plug it in?


    I have tried changing usb slot unpluging and repluging device and restarting system and nothing works. My item is a microphone and it sometimes works but usually doesnt. I dont know how to fix this and i dont really want to go through effort of warranty replacement. the last usb device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and windows did not recognise it.

    I am facing a problem. Even if I plug in my pen drive into my computer, then my computer is not reading it. I am getting the error message "USB device not recognized"?

    USB sound/midi device not recognized

    I have a Technics PR804 keyboard attached to my Windows 10 laptop through USB. I've installed the drivers that came with my keyboard by entering compatibility mode to Windows ME, but the device manager won't recognize the hardware when it's turned on and
    plugged into my laptop. I've seen instructions online indicating that device manager should identify the keyboard as a sound device, and that I should be able to choose folder location for correct driver, but can't complete this step as device manager does
    not list the keyboard as an available device.

    Any suggestions?
