Windows 10: How can I force windows desktop notifications to stay on the screen until I manually close...

I have been trying to find a solution to creating an alarm or reminder to pop up on my screen and not go away until I close it. I tried using Windows 10 calendar by clicking on the clock in the taskbar, setting a day and time for an alarm. It pops up wonderfully and asks me if I want to snooze or dismiss. However, if I don't select either, it goes away and doesn't come back. The biggest problem with this is if I leave my desk for a few minutes. When I come back, and don't see a reminder on my screen, I miss appointments. Is there a registry setting that tells Windows Notificatio

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

Follow these steps to check if it works:

Step 1: Open the Windows Settings menu by pressing the Windows Key and “I,” or alternatively search for Settings in the Windows search bar and click the corresponding result.

Step 2: Click Notifications & Actions in the left-hand menu. This will take you to a screen providing access to all of the settings related to notifications and the Action Center.

Step 3: Click the System icon, then select Notifications and actions from the left-hand menu.

Step 4: Look for the Notifications subheading, where you will see a number of toggles for various types of notifications. The following is a list of the settings you can toggle on this screen:

• Get notifications from apps and other senders
• Show notifications on the lock screen
• Show alarms, reminders, and incoming VoIP calls on the lock screen
• Hide notifications when duplicating my screen
• Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows

You may just turn them off the notification as you need.

 

Windows 10 Applications Force Closing

• Did you receive any error message? - No, just force closes, so I have to manually start the app again
• Did you install any third party security application? I have McAfee BT NetProtect Plus (it comes as a free download from my internet provider, which is BT)
• Is the issue specific to mail and calendar app? - No, all Microsoft Apps from time-to-time, sometimes Windows App Store also force closes, but its mainly Calendar and Mail

Also i tried the troubleshooter and no errors were found.
