Windows 10: How can i gain access to C: in windows ten? I also need help cleaning up a bunch of dead links.

I have a program that writes to a file it created on C:\At first it wouldn’twork then i ran the program as an administrator and all was good. But i now need to edit the file and windows keeps telling me i need to contact my administrator. I have attempted to change the permissions to give all users access to the file but it still tells me i have no access. I would like to be able to access and change files anywhere on MY COMPUTER!!!!Sorry getting frustrated.My other problem is this:My computer has an SSD called C:\ which has the OSa HDD called G:\ which was used for storage but became a second

How to gain access to WindowsApps folder not in C?


Hello guys. I followed this guide to gain access for WindowsApps folder, and it worked.
Now, I changed default drive for WindowsApps, to install Gears of War and Quantum Break(in future) in a larger drive. But the method to gain access to the WindowsApps folder, seem to not work if the drive isn't C, the default one.

Sorry for the inconvenience you are facing. Did you make any changes prior to the issue? Please try the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I would suggest you to follow these steps to take the ownership of the drive.

  Right click on Drive C and click
  Properties.
  
• 
  Switch to Security tab, click
  Edit and Add to add your user account, if it is not listed. Assign the
  full control permission for your own account and click
  OK.
  
• 
  Click Advanced, switch to
  Ownership tab and click
  Edit button.
  
• 
  Highlight your user account and click
  Apply, and then click
  OK.
  

Method 2: I would suggest you to disable to UAC settings and check.

  In search type User account control.

  Select Change User Account Control Settings.

  Move the slider to Never notify and click
