    How can I get 7 digit verification codes instead of 6?


    I have a personal Microsoft account. It has 2-step verification set up.Today, I’m performing a fresh install of Windows 11. I try to login with my personal Microsoft account, so I enter my username and password. I’m then prompted to use my email, phone number, or Authenticator app to get my verification code.I don’t have my personal account set up with my Authenticator app, so I use email. I receive a 6 digit code and I try entering that into the code text field on the login prompt, but then it tells me I need a 7 digit code.I the.
