    LG Slim Portable DVD Writer & Windows 10

    I have the external LG Slim Portable DVD Writer that is compatible to Windows 8 and recently downloaded Windows 10 to my Samsung laptop. Now my LG DVD Writer won't play any dvd's, the computer recognizes them and so does the VLC app but won't play it.
    Do I have to buy another DVD Writer that is compatible with Windows 10?

    is a samsung portable dvd writer model SE 208 compatible with windows 11? I used to use it with a windows HP computer and now I have a windows 11 HP computer and I am unable to open already downloaded files , as well as , unable to open the actual DVD using the portable device. Can you help, please?

    LG Slim portable DVD Writer

    I just received my new LG slim portable external DVD writer and cannot get it to work. I have Windows 10 on my laptop. I have inserted the DVD that came with it and it seems to be read and a few minutes later the writer opens and says insert DVD. I have
    done this but am unable to open or view my DVD. When I open documents to check Drive E it is not there. Any suggestions on how to get this to work?
