Windows 10: How can I get a refund on a virtually useless Windows 10/11 Key?

So I'm using a new MacBook and got frustrated at the limited amount of games available on the platform. As a result, I wanted to try to emulate Windows in order to play Windows games on my new laptop. I got Parallel Desktop, but needed to activate Windows on it to actually do anything. So, I bought a key, activated it, and learned the hard way that Windows games don't actually run well in an emulator on MacOS. Thus, my need for the key ended then and there. The page explaining refunds said there would be a button to request a refund in my order history, but there is no such button near my orde

Thanks but I don't want to do any decrypting. I want to download a Win 10 ISO from Microsoft and install it using my Win 8 key. No other steps required. Is that possible?

And people say the EU is useless! Now, if they force partial refunds for everyone, that'd be the next step.

Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.
