Windows 10: How can i get AAC audi on my laptop?

I have the sony XM-4 and i use it alot and i noticed whenever the audio is coming from my laptop it's using SBC but if it's connected to my phone it's using AAC.

How can i get that sweet AAC on my laptop too? This may be stupid, but does windows 10 give AAC using the headphone jack.

I know it differs from laptop to another but i refuse to believe that a laptop I bought in 2020~ doesn't support AAC without an external dongle.

(i have the Acer aspire 5, with the latest windows update)

Playback iTunes AAC media file

I am a mac user syncing my Samsung Focus with an iTunes playlist using Microsoft Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac. Everything syncs fine...my videos sync and play and my mp3 files sync and play fine. But any AAC files sync fine but when I try to
play them on the phone I get an error message "Can't Play. Try signing in with your Windows Live ID or try syncing again". I have converted all Apple lossless AAC file to general AAC files. I have removed media files and added them back. I have done a factory
reset of the phone. None of these things have worked for playback. I have spent hours with Samsung and Microsoft. Any suggestions?
