Windows 10: How can I get files off of my busted tablet?

The tab is a Samsung8. The screen has gone all rainbow grid and wont let me swipe to open pattern pad or put pattern in to open. It also wont read biometrics. So I am unable to turn on bluetooth or nearby share. I need all my media files for my work.

Tablet Mode doesn't automatically turn on

We suggest you to follow the below steps to make the tablet mode permanent:

• Click start and select settings.
• Select settings and then select tablet mode.
• Now you have different options to choose from, please choose settings that suits you.

Plz suggest me best tablet within 300USD.

Main thing which must be there is support for ms office, PDF & chm files.

Rest multimedia & all ok.

I found Kindle fire hd, google nexus 7/10 among popular tablets within 300USD. Suggest me best among these or other tablets.

But I wanna know if kindle fire can open chm files directly or need conversion? & which OS is there in kindle fire?

This issue might occur if the tablet mode is enabled.

I suggest you to disable the tablet mode and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Type setting in the search area in the task bar and select
  Settings.
  
• 
  Select on System option.
  
• 
  Select Tablet mode in the left panel of system Windows.
  
• 
  Toggle off the tablet mode.
