Windows 10: How can I get Mail for Windows 10 to load messages into my inbox quicker?

My prblem is the excess time it takes for emails to appear in my inbox after opening Mail for Windows 10. I have to wait up to 10 -12 minutes for them to appear. Recently I ported my mobile to Boost Mobile who required me to respond with the 6 digit code they emailed me. Those codes expired after 5 minutes so the codes always expired up to 10 minutes before the email arrived. Didn't seem to have this problem in Mail for Windows 2012 which is no longer available .Any advice would be appreciated!

TPU - How to search inbox messages?

I want to search for a text string in my inbox messages. I goto my inbox, click search and the search is for forum posts only. I click "More..." and only get options again to search forums.

Is there some way to search inbox/sent messages only?

 

Inbox shows attachment present but none loads


Mails diisplayed in the Gmail Inbox list show the attachment icon and spend long times 'Loading' when actually three or five lines of text is all there is and no attachment is ever actually loaded.

Stop / start FF does not ALWAYS clear this behaviour. The same email repoened shows the attachment icon, the 'Loading' message and no visible attachment.

Stop / start the PC has no effect.

The old days of XP there was a way to show each email as HTML where faults might become apparent. Is this feature available in Win10 / Gmail ?

Windows 10 Mail App - does not show content of Inbox

Using Windows 10 Mail App:

I can sync my mail folders (including sending e-mails), but for the Inbox the Mail App says "Nothing yet..." and there are no e-mails there.

If I go online via a web browser and move one of the e-mail from the Inbox to a sub-folder -- it appears in the sub folder in the Mail App also...

If I use Outlook I see all mails - also the ones in the inbox.

I have removed the account and created it again in the Mail App.

I suggest you to un-install and re-install the mail client and check. Follow the below steps to un-install the app.

1. Type Windows in the search box and right click on Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
   
2. Type get-appxpackage *microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps* | remove-appxpackage on the PowerShell and hit Enter.
   

Once you un-install the app install it form the Windows store.)
