Windows 10: How can I get Microsoft to add MS-certified printer drivers to the update catalog ?

I am a printer driver developer and have tested and certified several drivers in the last three years that do not appear in the Windows Update Catalog. Older printer drivers up to 2017 do appear.

What crieria must be fulfilled to get Win10 certified prnter drivers into the update catalog ?

Adding unlisted printer to the Win10 list

!'m not sure how I did it but all seems well now. It was something like Deacon suggested plus a re-boot or two. It's now listed as a printer, not as unspecified.





Update the list still doesn't work.

Do let us know the following:

• What is the make and model of your device?
• How is the printer connected to the computer, locally or through network?
• Have you tried any troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue?

I suggest you to try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to update the drivers for printer and check.

• 
  Right click on the Start button from the desktop and select
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Locate and expand Print queue.
  
• 
  Right-click on the printer driver
  that is listed and click Update driver software.
  

Step 2: I suggest you to run the printer troubleshooter from
“Fix printer problems”
and then check if this fixes the issue.
