My hp envy wont boot up. It runs on windows 10. It takes me to a menu where I can reset but it wont recognise my microsoft pw to get me into run in safe mode. Changed my pw, still wont accept. Effectively I am locked out of my computer.

HP Envy Laptop Battery not charging after Windows 10 installation

I suggest you to un-install and re-install battery drivers from Device manager and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Device Manager.
• Expand Batteries and right click on Batteries ACPI and click on Un-install.
• Restart the computer and check.

If the issue persist, I suggest you to visit HP Envy website and check whether HP has released any firmware updates for Windows 10. If so, please go ahead and install them and check with the issue.

Windows 10 Automatic Repair on Boot left my HP Envy with blank screen

I installed Windows 10 on my wife's HP Envy ultrabook back in the summer. It worked for several months, and then wouldn't boot. It tried to run the automatic repair when I booted it up yesterday, but after an hour the screen went black (although I can
still see the backlights around the edge). I shut it down and now it won't start up. I try to hit ESC to get into the bios and boot menu, but it won't work. I just get a black screen every time I turn the power on. Any suggestions?
