Windows 10: how can I get my old work done in notepad?

Discus and support how can I get my old work done in notepad? in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have written an html code for my project, and it was very long and big which I cannot write it again.     how can I get my old work done in notepad?


    I have written an html code for my project, and it was very long and big which I cannot write it again. Kindly tell me the steps so that I can get back my work and I don't have to do double work, kindly help ......................

    Notepad on Windows 7\

    Suggestion would be uninstall then new install on Win7. Maybe an older version would work better? A list, maybe Version 7?

    Windows 10 Character Map and Notepad

    Well I found the answer to my question. I should have thought through this a little longer.

    Notepad is native in ANSI mode.
    However Wordpad can work in UTF-8 mode.
    I found steps to make Notepad usable in UTF-8 mode but there are a lot of steps and once again there has to be a registry hack to make it work.
    Now how do I make Workpad be listed in the most used application through the Start Menu?
