Windows 10: How can I get my wifi 6E connection up from Windows?

Hello ! I have a wifi related problem . I'm 10 meters away from my router and two walls. if I put my laptop next to the wifi I get around 900mbps download and 600 upload. But from my room I get only 270 download and 50-80 upload when I have all the apps closed. But Once I open any app or even google the wifi connection goes down to 30 download and 40 upload.I really hate that but google won't let me watch an 1080p how to get my speed up? I tried ipconfig renew, release, netsh int ip reset, and everything . I should mention that I have a Lenovo Legion 5 15IAH7H with a 3070 8gb and an i7-1270

Your router does not support WiFi 6E standard.

You were able to connect to the router before but only via the 802.11b/g/n WiFi standard like now.

In order to connect to a WiFi 6E network, both the router and the wireless network adapter must adopt the same WiFi 6E standard. Anyway, thank you for letting me know that it's working now.

I told you before, I don't think WiFi 6E will work on Windows 10.

What version and build of Windows 11 are you running? If you don't know, type winver and post the screenshot.

The ipconfig /all report shows that the router does not assign any ip addresses to the wireless adapter, try restarting the router and PC and then try again. Otherwise, if your smartphone uses the WiFi 6E standard, try configuring it temporarily as a hotspot, then connect your PC to the phone's hotspot and check if you can access the internet.

 

Recommendation for WiFi usb / card

If you have a desktop computer I would STRONGLY suggest a PCIe adapter rather than a USB adapter if you go with WiFi 6. The only USB WiFi adapters that I have seen thus far use a Realtek chipset which is reported to have some serious flaws. In my own personal experience, I have tried 2 of these and returned both, getting performance worse than other WiFi 5 adapters and constant disconnects even 10 feet from my WiFi router. If you go with a USB adapter, I would suggest a quality WiFi 5 adapter. One more note: Should you decide to go with a WiFi 6 PCIe adapter, I would suggest a WiFi 6e model. They actually cost no more, and they are one step up just in case you ever go to a WiFi 6e router.
