Windows 10: How can I get my wifi/internet back? The button is gone

So, earlier this morning, I using my laptop for a quick moment and saw that after a while I don't even know what I did that caused it to happen, my youtube started to have trouble reloading. Then, I looked and saw that my internet was gone. My bluetooth and wifi options/buttons were gone. The bluetooth is still here on my laptop, just had to specifically go on the settings to look for it, but my wifi option is completely gone and my laptop is acting like I use the ethernet I do not when I troubleshoot. I can't even touch the air plane mode, my wifi adapter is completely gone even when g

Wifi options/button gone COMPLETELY (no way to connect to the internet)

Hello, my friend got a new laptop about a month ago and everything worked just fine. Today, he complained the wifi networks cant be seen and the wifi button is gone too and he can't connect to anything except for ethernet which he doesn't have. I tried looking online and I've tried all the options I could find. There's just no internet and I am stumped. His phone can connect to it and so can his very old laptop which he stopped using. Please keep in mind that the WiFi button is gone, only airplane mode shows up. I am desperate to get help and I have no idea what to do.

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

• Do you use Wired or Wireless connection?

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Network Troubleshooter and check, if this helps.

• In the search box, type ‘Troubleshooter’, and then click ‘Troubleshooting’.
• Under ‘Network and Internet’, click ‘Internet Connections’
• Follow the on screen instructions.

Step 2: Update Network Adapter.

• Right click on Start button, type Device Manager and Enter.
• Now click on your Network Adapter.
• Right click and click on Properties, and go to Driver tab and click on
  Update driver.
