Windows 10: how can i get this email , when email isnt in the profile anymore ? scam ?

Did get 3 email this morning within like 30 mins apart , did check the email header , its seems to come fromReturn-Path: <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>But at my profile ive used to have this email for ms account , but ive changed it to another email , and the old os is removed , did check the profile , there is only the new email added and a phone number. Is this a genuine email or a scam?

I received an email today from Microsoft 365 <Microsoft365@email.microsoft365.com> asking me to sign in to maintain access to the free version of Teams and its benefits.

It is more than likely that your email account was hacked, either by a virus sniffing your password, or just simply hacked.

Either way, change your password on your email account. Unfortunately the damage by already be done. They already have your contact list and your email address associated with that contact list. There is nothing stopping them from sending out emails using their own SMTP servers to everyone on your contact list and claiming the emails are from your email address. They don't actually have to have access to your yahoo account or even any yahoo server to send emails to people that come from your address.

 

UK Airport email scam

Hi there

this obviously could have been a big problem -- although it would seem to me a pretty obvious scam -- however so many people are very lax when it comes to email type scams I'm hardly surprised though.
