    How can i get unstuck on Windows start up


    So everytime I start up my computer it's all fine and all, but when I'm in the menú where I can see all my apps, it just won't open up everytime I click. It dose it for all apps, I can't open the start menu, Internet explorer icon, folders icon, etc. I'm just stuck in the main menu can't do anything but just stare at this blue thing in the background all and night.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
