Windows 10: How can I get Xbox Game Bar to show the option to "remember this is a game"?

I am trying to get Xbox Game Bar to stop background recording of footage from Elden Ring, without disabling background recording for every other game. Normally, I could do this by unchecking "remember this is a game" in the Game Bar settings, but the option simply does not appear when I have Elden Ring open. See the screenshot. Without this option, I cannot disable background recording for Elden Ring specifically. How can I make the "remember this is a game" option show up again?I have already tried closing Xbox Game Bar with Task Manager and reopening it, as well as reinstalling Xbox Game B

I truly understand that you are having an issue with Xbox game bar that is not showing any captures , let's work on this together for us to fix the issue.



Kindly follow the steps below that could possibly fix the issue.

Fix 1 : Enable game bar in settings

• Go to Settings
  
• Then click Gaming icon to continue.
  
• go to the Game Bar panel, make sure the option Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Gaming bar is on.

hello!

my xbox game bar doesnt detect my microphone, when i press it, it says that my privacy settings prevent it from accessing microphone, but then, when i click on the "show my how to fix this" button it takes me to a list on settings, but, xbox game bar doesnt
seem to be on this list

Please reply with the following details to help you further:

• Were you able to use the Microphone option earlier?
  
• Which build version of Windows is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit Enter.
  

To access the Microphone you will need to change the permissions which app can access the Microphone. To do that, please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + I, to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Privacy.
   
3. Click on Microphone.
   
4. Toggle the switch to on for Allow apps to access the Microphone.
   
5. Scroll down and toggle the switch to on for
   Xbox and Xbox Game Bar.
   
6. Now, press Windows key + G, to open
   Game Bar.
