    How can I import images Android 5.0 mobile phone using a USB cable?


    Hello

    How can I import images from my Android 5.0 mobile phone using a USB cable?
    Should I set my Android mobile phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 3) to "MTP" or "PTP"?

    Can I just use Windows Explorer? If so how - it doesn't seem to recognise the format.
    I can't get Microsoft Photos to work.

    I hate Google with a passion and don't wish to use any Google apps.

    Like HTC one x, lg nitro hd etc...any good alternative to galaxy SIII/NoteII?

    PC Suite, DKU-5 cable and Nokia 6101

    But there are other pages where the DKU-5 is still listed e.g.:

    Both this table and the interactive graphic version at:

    show the DKU-5 as being compatible with this phone. Also if you use the 'Help me out' feature in the step-by-step download facility at:

    http://europe.nokia.com/nokia/0,,72026,00.html

    it lists the DKU-5 for this phone.

    If I there had been any indication that there was a compatibility issue, I wouldn't have bought the cable.

    What is the make and model of the Android device?



    To transfer files and pictures from an Android phone/device to Windows, Contact your phone support. Your phone manufacturer might have released a program, which will sync the computer and the phone.



    I request you to check for this on your phone support site and install this program on the computer. If you face any issues with this program, I suggest you to contact Phone support for further assistance..



    Alternatively you may try the following step:



    Selecting import pictures will import all the picture files present on the memory card.



    If you want to import picture at a time, follow these steps:



    1. Connect phone.

    2. Ignore AutoPlay window.

    3. Click Start, click Computer.

    4. Locate the memory card drive, double click on it and select the picture files you want to import.

    5. Copy the files and paste it to a different location.



    Try the above steps and let us know if it works.
