    I plan to build my first WIN computer from nothing up. Therefore the new NVMe SSD will have no Windows 10 Pro installed on it.


    The existing old AMD Athlon II had a free upgrade from Windows 8.1 Pro bought to replace Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro.

    The old device is stuck at Windows 10 Pro Version 1709 Build 1699.1127. 'Check for new updates' has alerted me for about four days now that they are building a new update - Please retry'!


    As I put together the new computer, when I install the new NVMe SSD onto the new motherboard, the NVMe SSD will be empty because I have no Windows 10 Pro ISO USB device from which to load the operating system.


    I plan to dismantle this 'fossil' and maybe add the PSU to my tool box goodies. My intent is to acquire the Win 10 Pro license from the fossil listed in my MS ACCT ID and associate it my new machine as part of my MS ACCT ID when I totally remove the fossil from my MS ACCT ID.


    HOW DO I ACCOMPLISH THIS ONTO THE EMPTY NEW NVMe SSD?

    Move windows 10 pro license from virtual machine to physical machine.

    I need to move a windows 10 pro license from a virtual machine to a physical machine. The license has been bought as windows 10 pro not upgrade etc. The thing is that the computer (Mac book pro) where the virtual machine used to live is now dead beyond
    repair and to expensive to use. So I want to install windows 10 on a dell laptop now but I cant deactivate the old license on the virtual machine. Any suggestions?

    Clean Windows 10 (?PRO?) install

    I have bought a legit "Windows 10 Pro" key of a key website. It is legit since i'm currently using it for over a year now. I currently have Windows 10 Pro installed on my PC and I want to do a clean install. I just can't find the windows 10 Pro download in the tool. But if i could use a windows 10 pro key with a normal windows 10 install, I'll be good to go.

    As far as I am aware there is no Windows 10 Pro version.
    But I'd be happy to be wrong.
