Windows 10: How can I install windows 10 in my Dell inspiron 15 with usb pendrive

My dell inpiron 15 2018's model start restart loop when I try to install windows 10 update with usb pendrive.Windows 10 setup isn't installing I have selected UEFI boot option still not working Same installation works in another laptop

The procedure that came with my new Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series (same series as yours) was to backup using a USB flash drive, not discs. It also instructed to check (boot) the flash drive to verify it was OK. I have that, plus I went an extra step and did a full drive (it has an SSD) drive image (all partitions) with Macrium Reflect backup software to a separate drive.

But regardless of where the Windows 10 OS came from, the Win 10 installation and installation of needed DELL drivers should have got you going. The Dell supplied drivers in some cases are custom modified drivers and not the same as the "retail" (generic) driver versions from other sources.

I suggest you ask further in the Dell community as these are settings particular to the BIOS/UEFI used on your Dell machine.

Thank you all for the quick response. I apologize for not giving more detail. I booted to my trusty Win10 USB. It goes into the install routine. That is when it comes to the screen where no drives are found. I have downloaded many Intel RST files from Dell (both VMD and nonVMD), but none have worked. Since I am not versed on the Dell platform(s), I do not know which gen I have (per the comment from "itsme1"). If I remove the USB, the Inspiron 15 3530 will boot into Windows 11 from the "C:" drive. I will try the suggestion of "SIW2" when I am in front of the unit and see how it goes. Thank you all again for your valuable input!
