    How can I install Windows 11 on my SSD that's connected externally?


    I've been using Windows 11 for a while, and when the time arrived to switch to a new PC, all was good until I messed up the NVMe slot on my motherboard in the middle of building said new PC. Thus forcing me to run my PC through an external SSD. I had to install Windows on it using my old laptop and the disc I bought, but Windows was very adamant about not supporting installation on external drives. So I had to download a third party program to install it onto the SSD, but it only allowed me to install Home Edition and not Pro which is what I bought because the program wanted me to subscribe to

    Install Win 11 to external M.2 SSD via laptop

    Hello everyone, I purchased a new NVMe M.2 1TB SSD and my old 512gb SSD is in the laptop. I have a SSD reader by which I can connect the new SSD externally to the laptop. The new SSD is clean and I need to install Win 11 on that so that I can replace my laptop SSD with the new one. Can someone guide me through the steps for the same?

    I have 2 SSDs, one in the laptop and one connected externally via the reader. Can it be done with these two options or do we need an additional device for the installation.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    How do Install Windows 11 on a replacement SSD for my PC

    I have a GEEKOM miniair 11 with a 256 MB ssd drive. I want to upgrade to a 1 TB SSD drive.

    The 1 TB SSD has no OS. How do I get Windows 11 for my replacement drive? I only have one slot for the SSD. I read I cannot use an external USB connected hard drive cannot be used as a boot drive to reinstall Windows 11 on the new SSD. Any suggestions?
