Windows 10: How can i limit my kid using Youtube Web Site

My Kid is visiting Youtube during online school hours, how can i limit the website using Family Safety, He visits YT using browser, I cant restrict browser app as he require for other important sites tooI can block the entire site but i need to restrict him only during school hours Please help if any one solved this kind of issuesP.S, I can track activity, but i need to block it

• Is there a way to dissable access to Internet Explorer entirely from within Kids Corner?

This way if a game has a link to a webpage or youtube video the kid pressing that button can't get to it.



I will post the suggestion at the feature suggestions page. But to me this sounds more like a flaw in the Kids Corner coding and should be patched.

• Is there another forum I should post to in order to raise additional awareness?

• I have verified what you're saying. But there is still a large problem with the child being able to click the links from the original page. Within a few clicks the can be viewing inappropriate YouTube videos.
• What I have found is that after clicking the video link from within the App, we are directed to YouTube. Once in YouTube free roaming there is possible.
• Correct. Internet Explorer is NOT in the allowable list for Kids Corner.

• Why is Internet Explorer evening opening? My understanding is that once in Kids Corner, the kids can't in anyway wonder out of there.
• So is Kids Corner not secure?

 

Unable to block youtube using family safety

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check, if it helps:

Have you tried manually removing YouTube on the blocked websites at the Family Safety website? Base on how you setup your web filter, you have set the filter in which YouTube might not be included. So, to have YouTube exempted
on the list, please follow the steps below.

• On any computer, sign in to the
  Family Safety home page with your Windows Live ID.
  

Click Edit settings under the name of the child/member whose settings you want to change, and then click
Web filtering lists. Under Allow or block a website, type or paste into the box the web address of the website that you want to block. Select an option from the list, and then click
Add. Click Save.

Don't forget to refresh your Family Safety settings to update the changes you made on the website. To refresh the settings, login to the Family Safety client installed on your PC and click the
Get the latest settings from the website button (located on the left side of?) on the upper right of the window. After doing this, verify if YouTube is now accessible or not.
