Windows 10: How can I link "Microsoft To Do: List, Task & Reminder" with my "Google Calendar"?

Hi there.

I am trying to use the "Microsoft To Do: List, Task & Reminder" app but all my regular meetings and obligations are in the "Google Calendar". Is it possible to link "Microsoft To Do: List, Task & Reminder" with "Google Calendar" so that:
1. Entries made in Google Calendar appear on Microsoft To Do List
2. Entries made on Microsoft TO Do List appear in Google Calendar

do you know about good calendar / reminder softwares

calendar / reminder with notification that stays until you close the notification?

• you're not always by your desktop / mobile,
• you could be swimming, tons of things, etc

also something for 'sequenced, associated tasks'?

• calendar / reminder software where if you move task #1 from 10am to 9am,
• then task #2 that is associated with task #1 will move from 11am to 10am

 

I am Syncing Microsoft and Google Calendar sucessfully for calender events, but not for "reminders"

My device is a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Model (SM-N910F)

Andriod version 6.01

I can't recall how I orignally set up sync it was a process I did a long time ago. I assume it was through Outlook. It will take me sometime to determine what I originally did. Everything sync, with the excpetion of stand alone "Reminders". Events, and reminders
for Event do work.

 

Syncing Google Calendars with Calendar App

Thank you for posting your concern in Microsoft Community and welcome to the Windows 10 Family.

From the description provide, I understand that you are unable to sync Outlook calendar and Google calendar.

I would suggest you to use Outlook.com as the first step and then try to import the Google calendar ics file.

Please follow below.

Export Google Calendar

• Logon to your Google Account.
• Click the gear button.
• Follow the path Settings> Calendars> Export calendars.
• It downloads as a zip, hence you have to extract the .ics file.

Import Google calendar to Outlook.

• Login to Outlook.com.
• Click on Import in the context menu.
• Select the Google Calendar .ics file to import it.

All your Outlook events and appointments are now either in Google Calendar, whichever one you chose to import to .
